Outbreak Fest announces initial 2025 line-ups for London and Manchester

Outbreak Fest has announced its inital 2025 line-ups, featuring hardcore giants Turnstile headlining a UK-exclusive show in London, while Knocked Loose, Alex G, and shoegaze legends Slowdive take the top slots at the Manchester edition. The festival, known for championing the UK’s thriving counterculture, expands its reach with events in both cities next summer, promising a packed schedule of music that spans genres and generations.

This year’s festival builds on over a decade of celebrating boundary-pushing music, offering a platform for both established names and emerging talent. With its dual-city format, Outbreak Fest continues to provide a space for the UK’s alternative and hardcore communities to thrive, bringing together fans and artists in an inclusive and high-energy setting.

The London event, set for 13 June at Victoria Park, is a collaboration with LIDO Festival. Turnstile leads the charge, bringing their explosive hardcore anthems to a UK-exclusive set. Supporting them are Pennsylvania’s Alex G, known for their intimate and genre-blurring sound, and metallic hardcore titans Knocked Loose. The bill also includes Detroit rapper Danny Brown, Australian hardcore standouts SPEED, emo legends Sunny Day Real Estate, and shoegaze newcomers julie and Fleshwater. Fans can expect a multi-stage experience with other acts like Drug Church, Superheaven, and experimental rock outfit Have A Nice Life, with more artists yet to be announced.

Manchester’s Bowlers Exhibition Centre will host a two-day weekender on 14-15 June. Knocked Loose and Alex G return to headline individual nights, joined by Slowdive in an exclusive North of England performance. The Manchester line-up builds on Outbreak Fest’s eclectic reputation, featuring rap dynamo Denzel Curry, Grammy-nominated Deafheaven, and hardcore bruisers Gods Hate. Additional performances include Militarie Gun, Tigers Jaw, and UK hardcore representatives Impunity and Ikhras. With over 30 acts already confirmed, including fan favourites Foxing, SPY, and Gouge Away, this edition is set to be one of the festival’s most diverse offerings yet.

Tickets for both events go on sale this Friday 29 October at 10am GMT. This year’s expansion into London marks a milestone for the festival, while Manchester maintains its reputation as the beating heart of the UK’s alternative music scene.
