Episode 66

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Foxing, Goings, and Gaffa Tape Sandy as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from ALL NOW and Our Nameless Boy.

I opened the show with the absolutely brilliant “Teething” the brand-new single from London’s Ain’t. Ain’t have been kicking up a ton of noise with their recent singles and you can catch them at the Old England in Bristol on the 9th of November. Following “Teething” by Ain’t, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Lakes, Clutdreams, Fightmilk, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Northern Blood” by ALL NOW. “Northern Blood” comes off ALL NOW’s new EP of the same name. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the brilliant “Thier Shining Path” by Johnn Foreigner. “Their Shining Path” comes from JoFo’s new album How To Be Hopeful.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Company Culture” by the absolutely ace Lambrini Girls. Lambrini Girls just announced a host of gigs for early next year, including stops at Bristol and Southampton. After “Company Culture” by Lambrini Girls the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Split Chain, Last Hounds, Show Me The Body, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Leaving Party” by Our Nameless Boy. You can catch Our Nameless Boy supporting Wrex at Waterbear in Brighton on the 4th of October. Wrapping up this week's show was the brilliant slice of instrumental rock “Monolithic” by Divide and Dissolve. “Monolithic” is our first taste of Divide and Dissolves new album which is due to be with us next year.
