Episode 65

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Sløtface, Happy Accidents, and CHIEFLAND as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Midland Railway and Wreckship.

I opened the show with the absolutely brilliant “So Funny” by Brazilian pop-punk sensation Karen Dió. Karen Dió drops her debut EP My World late next month!. Following “So Funny” by Karen Dió, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Lakes, Johnny Foreigner, M.A.G.S., and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant punk ripper “She Loves Ted Bundy” by Midland Railway. You can catch Midland Railway in the flesh at the Night and Day Cafe in Manchester on the 25th November. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the brilliant remix of the Sincere Engineer’s banger “Corn Dog Sonnet No. 7.” For this remix, Sincere Engineer recruited Hot Mulligan and Extra Large Holiday Card to make the banger bang even harder.

Post-news break, I resumed with the brilliant “Mould” by emoy mathy rockers Love Rarely. “Mould” is the band's first single since announcing their signing to one of our fave labels Big Scary Monsters. After “Mould” by Love Rarley the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Hello Mary, Bicurious, Defences, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome  “Terminal Radness” by Wreckship. “Terminal Radness” comes from Wrekship’s EP which is also conveniently called Terminal Radness. Wrapping up this week's show was  “Do It Badly” by Thank. “Do It Badly” comes from the bands forthcoming album I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed.
