Episode 76

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Regal Cheer, Winona Fighter, Blood Command as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Midland Railway and Roller Derby.

I kicked off the show with “A Spike Lee Joint” by Blvck Hippie. “A Spike Lee Joint” comes from Blvck Hippie’s brilliant album Basketball Camp which came out earlier this year. After “A Spike Lee Joint” by Blvck Hippie, the first half of the show showcased tunes from KNIVES FL, Common Sage, Sweet Pill, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Bedroom Analysis” by Midland Railway. You can catch the band playing at The Old Pint Pot in Salford on the 11th of Jan. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with “Good Grief, Idaho” by Heading North. “Good Grief, Idaho” alongside its other double a side track “Expired Kohl’s Cash” is our latest taste from the Pittburgh-based emo-punks.

Post-news break, I resumed with “Violently Blue” by Dead Air. “Violently Blue” gives us a taste of what to expect from London alt-rocker's new EP Elements which coms out early next year. After “Violently Blue” by Dead Air, the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Dead Pony, ALT BLK ERA, Diva Bleach, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Emily's Dance” by Roller Derby. “Emily's Dance” comes from the German Dream-Pop duo’s forthcoming debut album When The Night Comes which out early next year. I wrapped up last night’s episode with the massive banger “You Are The Morning” by jasmine.4.t. “You Are The Morning” is the title track of jasmine.4.t’s debut album which comes early in 2025.
