Episode 73

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of CHERYM, Thank, and Major Arcana as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Midnight Housework and Northern Captives.

I kicked off the show with the brilliant “sutures” the certified god-tier banger from could be ghosts. “sutures” can be found on this year's edition of Small Pond Presents which came out on Friday. After “sutures” by could be ghosts, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Ritual Error, Main Street Detour, Sincere Engineer, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant “Who's Gonna Keep Me Holding On” by Midnight Housework. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with with The Casper Fight Scene’s brilliant new single “Cadillac Death Trap”. The Casper Fight Scene just announced their signing with PNWK Records.

Post-news break, I resumed with  “We Could Be Heaven” by Blood Comand. The Norwegian band just recently announced their signing to Arising Empire. After “We Could Be Heaven” by Blood Comands, the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from Fightmilk, Zygnema, Kaonashi, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome “Nothing And No One” by Northern Captives. I wrapped up last night’s episode with the beautiful “Emily and Alex” by Johnny Foreigner. “Emily and Alex” comes from Johnny Foreigner's brilliant album How to Be Hopeful which came out earlier in the year.
