Episode 72

Last night’s episode of The Scene with me your host Thom with an H, was another banger of a show featuring the likes of Orchards, Love Rarely, and ADERYN, as well as unsigned spotlight tracks from Mud Whale and DAVES.

I kicked off the show with the brilliant “Woke Frasier” by Thank. “Woke Frasier” comes from Thank’s banging new album I Have Physical Body That Can Be Harmed which came out on Friday. After “Woke Frasier” by Thank, the first half of the show showcased tunes from Los Campesinos!, ME REX, Sweet Pill, and our first unsigned spotlight track the brilliant  “Smoke Signals” by Mud Whale. “Smoke Signals” comes from Mud Whale’s new album Humans Pretending To Be Human which comes out next week. Before the news break, I wrapped up the first half with the brilliant “It Is What It Is” feat. Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire by Out Of Love. “It Is What It Is” comes from Out Of Love’s new EP Tuff Luv which comes out at the end of the month.

Post-news break, I resumed with “Breathe It In” by Defences. “Breathe It In” comes from Defences’ brilliant new album Shadowlight which came out on Friday. After “Breathe It In” by Defences, the second half of the show packed the punches with tracks from The Nightmares, Cultdreams, Kid Bookie, and our second unsigned spotlight the awesome That was the awesome  “An Act Of Terrorism” by DAVES. I wrapped up last night’s episode with Beauty Sleep’s banging “Bigger Shoutier” remix of our mates Problem Patterns “Big Shouty”.
