Gig: ME REX & SUDS @ The Cavendish Arms, London

Do you ever find yourself daydreaming about dream gig lineups? We do all the time. And top of that list was a ME REX and SUDS gig—two of our favourite bands whose styles harmonise perfectly. Then, out of the blue, the pair announced dates in London and Brighton. Gutted that we couldn’t be in those cities, we were determined to send our team to capture the magic.
The lovely Jo Brown stepped in to photograph the bands at the London show on 6 May at The Cavendish Arms. This particular show held a special significance as it doubled as the official release event for ME REX’s phenomenal new EP Smilodon which dropped the week prior. Adding to its uniqueness, it was a matinee show, kicking off at the unorthodox (but let’s be honest, the totally welcomed) hour of 4.30pm. Joining ME REX and SUDS for this unforgettable evening were Brighton’s very own Superfriends, rounding out an experience that left a lasting impression on all fortunate enough to attend.
