Gig: L.S. Dunes @ New Cross Inn, London

L.S. Dunes by Jez Pennington

US supergroup L.S. Dunes played the second of two intimate gigs at London's New Cross Inn on 29 May, delivering a powerful performance despite the absence of guitarist Frank Iero, who had to leave the tour early due to a serious family health issue. Stepping in for Iero was Steven Battelle from LostAlone, who seamlessly filled the role and kept the energy high. Fronted by the dynamic Anthony Green of Circa Survive, Saosin, and The Sound of Animals Fighting, the band also features Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever, bassist Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule from Thursday. The night was further electrified by support from MOULD, a three-man powerhouse from Bristol known for their exhilarating, unhinged musical joyride. Photographer Jez Pennington captured the intensity and emotion of an unforgettable night, preserving the essence of the performance through his captivating visuals.
